New Years was a mixed bag... basically spent the night getting molested by women that were too old or too young/crazy, stayed sober because I was driving and in the end had to carry (and I mean carry) a drunk chick I didnt know the entire length of the Mount because she'd passed out in a restaraunt. On the upside, I got a couch to crash on, made some new friends, and generally stayed out of trouble so that was alright.
There was one incident in Matamata where I cut off some gang members and they followed me over the kaimais waving a knife, but thats another story. Thats twice Ive been threatened with a pigsticker recently, it's pricks like that that make you want to keep a gun under your seat...
Helped my mate move to Auckland cos she was a bit stuck for a vehicle. Or a towbar, or any kind of help... couple of elderly rellies turned up to help us clean but other than that we did it all ourselves. Amazing what a nice pair of tits will get you isnt it...
Spent a couple of days in the Coromandel, went to the Coroglen Tavern to see Luger Boa and Supergroove play. Supergroove were 'caught wanking' about the gold prospecting on Coromandel beaches, its bad m'kay! My family were up there so had a few chats with them about this and that, mostly about the sad state of affairs that was the next generations genepool, and the lack of grandchildren. Dad was quite indifferent about the natural selection against his line, guess he figured there werent going to be any real farms in the future anyway. My mum played Rob(my fitness freak brother-in-law)at badminton and thrashed him, and he cried.
My eldest nephew has taken to deliberately shitting his pants because his new younger brother gets all the attention these days. Arent kids just the sweetest little angels?
Stopped in at Thames to see my brothers renovation project on a huge old hotel. Apparently its the biggest original kauri building in New Zealand, and he's there rewiring, replumbing, sanding back and repainting ALL OF IT. That place has a chimney that's almost as big as my van, the building is eight meters high from the sidewalk to the gutter, 24 guest suites and an owners residence... And theres only two of them working on it. Madness.
So now Im back in Hams wondering what Im going to do with the next few weeks until work starts again... probably sit around and waste time, get drunk and sunburnt. At some point I'll get my new puter up and running, kill a few days replaying some games. Nothing constructive then :)
